Dear PMI Members Members,

Happy March.

Welcome to the vibrant month of March where we are reminded of the many reasons to reflect and celebrate. And as part of our commitment to recognizing the value each of us bring to our community please join us this month as we celebrate, honor and appreciate the incredible contributions of those around us.

In this month, PMI Minnesota chapter is joining the world to proudly celebrate Women’s History Month, recognizing the strength, leadership and resilience of women who have shaped history and continue to inspire us today. Earlier in the month the chapter held its annual International Women’s Day panel discussion, a virtual event that focused on recognizing, uplifting and championing the achievements of women in Project Management. This year’s theme was on ‘Women Leading the Way in Project Management Self-advocacy and Partnership”. The keynote and panel discussion focused on topics such as career development, self-advocacy and networking through shared experiences and best practices. As we continue to celebrate the achievements of women in the month of March, PMI MN is committed to recognizing the contribution of women within our community and beyond through our social media posts.

Employee Appreciation Day is another appreciation that the month of March brings, as we reflect and appreciate the excellence we deliver as employees, I encourage us all to take a moment to pause and express heart felt gratitude to ourselves and people around us for the hard work each of us demonstrates every day. Our commitment, creativity and passion are the foundation of the success of our community. Thanks for making a difference in everything you do.

And of course, we can’t forget Saint Patrick’s Day. Let’s embrace the spirit of luck, joy and togetherness as we celebrate this lively tradition.

Other events on our schedule this month include the Monthly Dinner event coming up March 24^th, which is an in-person PMI PDU/Networking Events. We also have a monthly virtual new member open-hour that will be held March 21^st, more information and details of registration is available on our website. Thank you for joining us.

A quick reminder that the month of March is a reminder that growth comes from gratitude and strength comes from unity. Let’s make the most of this month by supporting one another, celebrating our wins and continuing to move forward with our purpose and possibility.

We are nominating Hailey because she has done so much great work getting the marketing side for PMI MN organized the past few months and contributes many new ideas. She is a hard worker and makes sure she is supporting all the committees where she can!
