Message from the President: Dear PMI-MN Chapter Members: Happy New Year! I am thankful for the opportunity to serve as President of our chapter in 2023. I thank you, our members, for your participation in our PMI chapter. I also want to thank our past President, Manish Kalra for his role as President in 2022 and now past President role for 2023. Also, thanks to the past President from 2022, Ruth Birkholz and the board members who fulfilled their board term. And many thanks to all the volunteers and my fellow board members who volunteer their time and talents to keep our PMI chapter in good standing. We all know last year was still a transition year and this year will have its challenges, but we hope to make it look and feel more normal. We hope to bring our members our great programs that we have had in the past, with hopefully some new ones in 2023. Not only that, but we also hope we can connect more face to face. I am excited that this year we will have PMI region 2 and region 3 combined meeting in June (15-17) in Minneapolis at the University of St. Thomas, attracting 39 chapters and over 200 attendees. We are also excited about the upcoming PDD program in 2023. Please keep in mind that the PMI Global Summit will also be October 26-28, 2023 in Atlanta, GA. We will update all these events and more at the PMI-MN website, www.pmi-mn.org. We hope to have these events there so that you can add them to your calendar to block your time well before the event. I will also be sending out with my presidents letter calendar updates each month with the current month and next month's events to keep all PMI-MN members updated. 2023 will be exciting and our PMI chapter has much to offer, from certification training to volunteer opportunities. Visit our website, www.pmi-mn.org, for member benefits and programs of interest to you. These include networking, military liaison, mentoring, webinars, jobs board, and collaboration. Contact me anytime at michael.g.oconnor@pmi-mn.org if you have any questions about our chapter.
